Abstract: Note for EP Lesson 13 (Spending money)
Dialogue Summary
The dialogue is talking about the expense for the company between the accounting and the manager. The manager asked Jill to go over the profile and loss statement. Jill showed that their expenses are through the roof. After the manager sees the numbers, he was shocked these numbers are off the charts.
The Jill started to explain why the expenditure was so high. The main reason is that the expenditure of entertainment and travel are out of control. Such as $20,000 for hotel charge.
$5,000 for SPA treatments. $8,000 were spent in one night at a place called “Wild Things”. The manager started to try to stop Jill, he said he will look into it and take care of it and last to thank Jill for thorough analysis.
I think the reason of manager did not want the Jill continually to analyse is most of the expenditure is spent by the managers like him.
