English Pod Study Note Lesson 12

Abstract: Note for EP Lesson 11 (Cleaning the House), talking about cleaning the house.

The Dialogue Summary

The man told his wife that his boss and her husband will be coming over for dinner and he needs the house to be spotless. He thought that his house is such a mess. His wife just wanted to put off it and said: “I’m in the middle of something right now, and I will be there in a second“.

Then his wife came and the man started to allocate the tasks. He showed a list of chores they need to do. He would do the dishes and get all the groceries. And he asked his wife to sweep and mop the floor and dusted the furniture.

However, his wife just would pick up something in the mall. So she decided to get the groceries. The man agreed with it. A while later, his wife came back and was very surprised to see the house looked really good. The man asked her to set the table, but she just wanted to vacuum the rug fast. The man yelled her to do not do it, but it was too late and the vacuum cleaner is exploded.
